The Rope Factory in Brantford’s Artisan Village was the venue for Nicolina and Taylor’s May 4th wedding and it couldn’t be more beautiful and fitting for the gorgeous couple. They choose May 4th for the obvious reason that they are huge Star Wars Fans; “May the 4th be with you!” Check out their tribute photo to Star Wars below. The Artisan Village, located in what was the old cordage factory, is such an incredible venue with its rustic beauty and industrial historical buildings.
TELL US HOW YOU FIRST MET? WHO WHAT WHEN WHERE WHY? GIVE US THE DIRTY DETAILS.
Nicolina was getting work done on her car at a friends shop and Taylor was helping. When everything was done Nicolina was too busy talking to Taylor that she backed into the garage when backing out (because he was so dreamy, obviously). So embarrassing!! Nicolina just wanted to get out of there. Next day, she had forgotten if she thanked Taylor for his help so messaged him over Facebook, and the rest is history.
WHEN DID YOU KNOW HE/SHE WAS THE ONE? WAS THERE SOMETHING HE/SHE DID? ETC.
Found one another’s other half, that was just as awkward and weird as the other.
TELL US ABOUT THE PROPOSAL. (DID YOU SEE IT COMING, HOW LONG WAS IT IN THE PLANNING? HOW DID YOU FEEL? WERE YOU NERVOUS, EXITED, FREAKED OUT?
Taylor: Thought about it for like a month, then took about 2 weeks to actually put everything into action! Nicolina: I asked Taylor to marry me as a joke (he said no…) and then a month later he asked me. I didn’t know it was coming until I saw him struggle to open his jacket pocket!!
