Sarah and Tom had their fall engagement shoot at the Guelph Arboretum on October 23rd, 2021.

One of my favourite parts of being a engagement and wedding photography is being a part of someone’s love story and creating lifelong memories for them to cherish forever.

So, when Sarah and Tom decided they wanted McCormick Photography to capture their engagement and wedding, it hit a soft spot for me because I watched Sarah grow up from an early age. I used to babysit Sarah and now I am capturing these huge life moments as Sarah enters the next chapter with her fiancé Tom and her daughter Penelope.

It was a beautiful fall’s day for their engagement shoot at the Guelph Arboretum. Let’s be honest, little P stole the show with her mischievous expressions. Whether the client has children or furbabies I always love the idea of including them in some of the engagement shots because they’re part of the journey too. Sarah and Tom did just this and some of the best shots from the shoot were the family shots with Penelope and their dog. It really depicted the energy of love this little family has.

To say I am excited and honoured to photograph their wedding day in the fall of 2022, would be a understatement. I know it will be one for the books and I will cherish the memory of being part of their big day just as much.
